ABOUT HER
Mother. Daughter. Wife. Women in many rural areas have not been provided with proper sanitation for so long, resulting in many diseases and deaths. A change must happen right now.

Disposable pads contain dioxins(toxins) which are formed in the form of burning/bleaching used pads. These pads end up in the bloodstream of a woman. ​

DISPOSABLE PADS ARE HARMFUL TO A WOMAN'S BODY
​
Billions of trees are cut down yearly to make disposable pads. A single disposable pad has the equivilent of four plastic bags. Which means an equivelent minimum of 40,000-60,000 plastic bags are being discarded per woman throughout her menstrual cycle.

DISPOSABLE PADS ARE HARMFUL TO THE ENVIRONMENT

Therefore SHE will be using Saukhyam Pads, a sanitary product created using banana fiber which can be reused. Reusable pads will improve menstrual hygiene.
SHE aspires women in rural areas with such reusable pads.

HER VISION
Her vision is to provide ALL women with the sanitation that they need to improve their menstrual hygiene. Women in our world still use a dirty cloth during menstruation which is harmful to their body. SHE aspires to change that.
